RJ Works Sdn Bhd – Ecommerce Website
RJ Works Sdn Bhd is a contractor specialising in the supply and installation of effects paints. The project main scope was setting up fully functional e commerce website with the aim of selling their paints from the website.
Scope of Service
The scope of the e commerce website design included the creation of home page, about us page, shop page listing all the products being sold, individual product pages for a total of 12 products, shopping cart page and check out pages.
Project Challenges
The main challenge in the project is providing the product description in accordance to the client requirement. As the client is selling paints, selection of various paints color codes has to be included into the paints pricing. We also had to add a selection of the purchase of special tools along with the order of the paint.
The client also required for it’s buyers to have an estimated package of the paints to be ordered based on the square footage of area to be painted. We have created an online form to enable the buyers to purchase the right quantity of paints based on the square footage area.
Ecommerce Pages
Several e commerce pages were created to enable the smooth purchase of the paints from the website. A cart page is created for buyers to purchase multiple products. Customer’s ‘My Account’ page was also created so that customers can tract all purchase activities in their account.
